Who We Are

Started in 1983, Asker Distributors, Inc. is an award-winning family owned and operated wholesale distributor of premium ice cream, frozen desserts, pizza and frozen foods. We work with local independent and chain convenience stores, restaurants, and resorts throughout Northwest Florida, Southwest Georgia, and Southeast Alabama as well as major retailers including Publix, Walmart, Winn-Dixie, Dollar General, Target, and CVS.

Asker Distributors, Inc. has over 8,000 square feet of warehouse space at our Tallahassee headquarters and a fleet of 13 refrigerated low-temp trucks to efficiently serve our customers.
1983
President and CEO, Alan Asker, begins distributing seven flavors of Häagen-Dazs ice cream to major retailers and small outlets in the Tallahassee area with a single pick-up truck and slide-on refrigerated box.

1987

1995
Additional office space is built to support the growing business.

2004
Added Edy’s Ice Cream to our Häagen-Dazs product distribution and expanded the warehouse by an additional 48,000 cubic feet.

2016
The warehouse is expanded once more with an additional 30,000 cubic feet and a second parking lot is built for the growing workforce and truck fleet.

Route Sales Representative (Full-Time)
We're seeking a self-motivated, responsible individual to be a Route Sales Representative in Tallahassee, Florida. The primary responsibilities of this position are the delivery and merchandising of Nestle Ice Cream and Pizza brands to our national and independent customers.

Job Requirements:
Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with airbrake endorsement meeting DOT requirements
Applicant must provide Current Motor Vehicle Report
Applicant must provide Current Medical Card
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School Diploma / GED equivalent
Preferred Experience:
Route delivery
Direct-to-store delivery
Stocking and merchandising products
Responsibilities:
Exercise safe work practices
Deliver, stock, merchandise, rotate, and preorder products
Pick and load truck for next day delivery
Ability to understand and follow planograms
